Personal Training! Sol Pilates & Yoga provides personal training using the Stott Professional Reformer and Stability Chair. Personal Training focuses
on improving posture, muscle balance and conditioning. Specialized equipment ensures that you are working your body in proper alignment.

Pilates Flow with Maryann
Pilates Flow is inspired by the teachings of Body Harmonics and includes standing pilates and is a slow, focused, flowing and intense program.
This class will challenge you and make use of various props including fitness circles, flex bands, and toning balls.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 28, 2009 (6:00PM - 7:00PM)
Beginning Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 (12:00PM - 1:00PM)

Meditation
Each meditation class will focus on creating a relaxing energy by calming our bodies and minds and going within to find peace, relieve stress, and embrace the
beauty of the present moment while learning more about ourselves. Beginner and seasoned practitioners will enjoy guided meditation that will include mindfulness
meditation, visualization, chakra clearing meditation, pranayama, and mantras.
Beginning Friday, October 2, 2009 (7:00PM - 8:00PM)
4 weeks for $50 or $15 per class

Sol Pilates & Yoga provides personal training and group fitness
programming in the Greater Markham area (Unionville, Cornell,
Stouffville) and personal training and corporate fitness and workplace
fitness programs in York Region. Sol Pilates & Yoga group classes are
limited to a maximum of 8 people to ensure the instructor can focus in
on individual needs.
Sol Pilates & Yoga specializes in the Stott Pilates method which emphasizes programming and modifications that increasingly challenge the muscles, enhance performance in sports, and rehabilitates through injury-specific programming.
Sol Pilates & Yoga is located in a "hub" of wellness on Main Street Markham. Check the links page for information on wellness offerings including massage therapy, hot stone massage, and naturopathic medicine.

Katia Grodecki, M.Ed.
Meditation Coach and Reiki Practitioner
Katia has been practising meditation and yoga for the past several years, upon discovering the healing properties of the practice. She currently facilitates
meditation courses and practices Reiki -- two holistic healing modalities that she sees as complementary. Katia holds a Master of Education degree in Adult
Education and Community Development from OISE at the University of Toronto and enjoys working with those who seek to enrich their lives through self-discovery
facilitated by meditation and spiritual exploration.
